This is another great example from the series of one dozen westerns that feature Nell O'Day with Johnny Mack Brown and Fuzzy Knight. These above average Universal Studios productions were all made in 1940, 1941 and 1942. In this picture, pistol packin' O'Day is out to avenge the death of her father, the manager of a Pony Express Post. One of the key bad guys here is played by Ray Teal, who turned over a new leaf a couple of decades, later to portray Sheriff Coffee of Virginia City on the Bonanza TV series. This film contains extensive riding sequences that showcase miss O'Day's equestrian abilities.
