Sheila Ryan was a Great bad cowgirl in 3 Gene Autry feature films and 2 Gene Autry TV shows.  This time out, she is a shady lady sheriff  and Gene is an undercover U.S. Marshal.  Gene's sidekick, Pat Buttram pulls her off screen in handcuffs at the end of this film. In real life, after meeting on the set of this film,  Ryan and Buttrum were married in 1952.  The marriage produced a daughter and lasted until her death in 1975.  Buttram, who died in 1994, is probably most remembered for his Green Acres  TV series character, Mr. Haney.    Previously, in 1945, Shelia Ryan was married briefly to Republic cowboy star, Allan "Rocky" Lane.
