As the gun battle rages on, she seems to be...moving. Yes, she is definitely going for her gun. What a struggle! What a gal!

Lesser women would have stayed down after being shot in the throat, but as "Angela Nelson", she and her brothers run this town. With bullets whizzing all around, you can see in her eyes just how determined she is to hold on to her power - and her life! She has managed to crawl to the point where she can grab the gun with just one last reach. There she goes, but why is she suddenly hesitating? Seems like she might be experiencing a series of spasms. Whatever it is, you can see she is putting up a mighty struggle to overcome it. But as the music swells, there is one last quiver before a final collapse.

For a few short seconds there is eye movement that makes you wonder if she might somehow rally again, but then the eye suddenly looks downward and freezes. At this point the character of "Angela Nelson" quite literally "bites the dust!"

Now "Regina Torne'" can collect her money and go home after delivering one of the best cowgirl death scenes in the history of the cinema. This was a Mexican Film production which featured the American actor "Nick Adams" in his last role.
