Railroad Detective Matt Clark (Jim Davis) and his sidekick Frankie
Adams
(Mary Castle) are hot on the trail of yet another bad girl gun-
slinger in this exciting episode of
Stories of the Century.  This time the
bad girl gunslinger is younger than most.
Gloria Winters took time
off from her role as
Penny on Sky King to portray the notorious young
female outlaw known as
Little Britches.  When she tires of her name,
she robs a bank and shoots the teller so she can have the money for a
dress.  She escapes only briefly as
Matt chases her down and pulls her
from her still galloping horse.  Just like
Belle Starr, she loses her gun
in the the process of being dumped on the ground and is led off to jail
by our hero.  Later that night, the sheriff is shot as
Britches breaks
jail with the help of a much older man who soon becomes her new
love.  The two outlaws buy a freight line as a front for a smuggling
business, but are foiled again by our hero and his lady sidekick - a
fate they seem to have in common with every famous outlaw in the
old west.  Highly Recommended *****
